WEEK 11 WAIVER WIRE

We're just a few weeks away! Who's on your Deadline Wishlist? Or are you opting for the streaming route? Don't forget to prepare - there's still money on the line come December! Here's a list of who's available on the AJFFL Waiver Waire ahead of this week's matchups:

QUARTERBACKS

  1. Zach Wilson New York Jets vs Buffalo You could make the argument that the waiver wire is empty - and this could be your first piece of evidence. Not much to pick from here - and the Bills D/ST is doing a decent job as of late. Despite being one of only a handful of starting QBs on the wire, Wilson is here for a reason. Unless you're dealing with an untimely injury, Wilson should stay here.

  2. Dorian Thompson-Robinson Cleveland Browns vs Pittsburgh EDITED DeShaun Watson's season is done after suffering a shoulder injury last week. The Browns are running out of options at QB - PJ Walker was rumored to get the start, but this afternoon Browns Coach Kevin Stefanski confirmed Thompson-Robinson is getting the football. Neither one of these guys have been anything to write home about - and they both have a track record for turning the football over. Let's see who can generate any offense before putting stock into the Browns.

RUNNINGBACKS

  1. Rico Dowdle Dallas Cowboys vs New York (N) Tony Pollard might get a game off here in the coming weeks - IF they hold a firm grasp on the Wild Card. They're technically behind the Eagles in the division - but that won't keep them from the postseason. Dak is throwing the ball well, so the running game is becoming more of a late-game/clock-killing move than it is tytpical Cowboys offense. That said, they are still a high powered offense. Dowdle should be picked up in case something happens to Pollard.

  2. Latavius Murray Buffalo Bills vs New York (A) Murray might be a flash in the pan since the Bills recently signed Leonard Fournette from their practice squad, but he sure gave James Cook a run for his money this week. Cook struggled in his start on Monday Night, and his fumble didn't help his chances. Murray stepped in and put together a decent showing - although Cook resumed his responsibilities by game's end. That being said - Murray could still be a threat to stealing red-zone touches from Cook unless Fournette gets in the lineup.

WIDE RECEIVERS

  1. Josh Reynolds Detroit Lions vs Chicago There's two things you can count on this year in fantasy football: the Detroit Lions WR's having a field day while at home, and the Bears D/ST giving up lots of big plays. That's why Josh Reynolds is gonna be back on the top of this list - he's going to be a one week play, but his ceiling is too high to ignore if you need a guy with a BIG CHANCE to boom.

  2. Robert Woods Houston Texans vs Arizona Considering the situation he was thrust into, CJ Stroud is playing extraordinarily. He is well on his way to a Rookie of the Year award through ten week's, and it would be rather difficult to pinpoint his favorite target if you were to just look at the stats. The favorite could range from Tank Dell according to the numbers, (7.125Targets/Game), but Dalton Schultz (6.2Tar/Gm), Nico Collins (6.6Tar/Gm) and Woods (6.6Tar/Gm) are all right there in terms of spreading the ball around. Woods isn't a big YAC guy, but he was originally slotted as the WR1 on this team at the beginning of the season. Don't let the 50% catch rate fool you - he's going up against some of the better DB's in the league with a rookie QB. His numbers are trending up, along with the Texans Points per Game...

TIGHT ENDS

  1. Pat Freiermuth Pittsburgh Steelers vs Cleveland Freiermuth has had a rollercoaster of a season - and this week he's finally been designated to return from IR. It's expected he starts this week against Cleveland, so don't be surprised if they work him back into the game plan right away - he's a big target for Pickett. His current RV of 0.28 doesn't reflect his capabilities - he nearly doubled that RV last year, meaning there's still good football left in Freiermuth this season.

  2. Michael Mayer Las Vegas Raiders vs Miami Mayer put up 9pts with three catches on five targets for 19yds and a TD last week, but don't get too excited about him yet. Aiden O'Connell has some growing pains to get through still - although QBs tend to lean on the running game and their TE's in those situations. They've got a high-scoring team next week - so expect them to pull out all their tricks in order to get in the end zone.

DEFENSE/SPECIAL TEAMS

  1. Minnesota Vikings vs Denver Denver's Defense got Ken Dorsey fired this week. Well... there were many more reasons for Dorsey's dismissal, but the Broncos Defense was the final straw. They're not great - and their offense is OK-at-best. Expect a few sacks, and maybe even an INT or two from the Vikings this week.

  2. Miami Dolphins vs Las Vegas As mentioned above, the Dolphins have a high-scoring offense. And Las Vegas... does not. That means they'll most likely be taking chances, or they'll come into the game expecting to take a beating. With interim head coach Antonio Pierce in control, I wouldn't expect this Raiders team to roll-over too easy.

KICKERS

  1. Jason Sanders Miami Dolphins vs Las Vegas See: Dolphins D/ST. Lots of scoring means lots of kicking. Sanders should get you on the scoreboard this week without a problem.

  2. Matt Ammendola Houston Texans vs Arizona Houston is shocking a lot of teams with their offensive output. Experts projected they win only 3 games all year (I picked 0) - they're currently 5-4 and one game out of a playoff spot. Lots of offense means lots of scoring, and Stroud is starting to get more comfortable with his offensive schemes. Don't be shocked if Ammendola starts becoming a highly-sought kicker come the post-season.
